Yoga Therapy Series at Atlanta Yoga
Yoga as Healing Therapy with Gina Minyard. 4- week series,Tuesdays at 8pm. $64

Anusara® yoga therapeutics approach the body with empowering, innovative, and practical
knowledge – the Universal Principles of Alignment™ – to optimize the healing potential that
is already present. In this series we’ll explore the beautiful theory of how and why this works,
and then apply the Principles to address various musculoskeletal injuries and issues. We’ll
work with direct therapeutic applications and then integrate them into the common poses of
asana practice. Ultimately, every asana practice should be therapeutic. Your yoga
should leave you feeling more free and joyful, not less. This series is appropriate for
those new to yoga and with therapeutic concerns, those established in their practice and
experiencing problems or injuries, as well as those who wish to understand the Principles
more deeply. This 4-week series will cover therapy for the lower back, hips and knees,
shoulders, and neck.

Eye of the Tiger at Atlanta Yoga
Beginning January 2nd Eye of the Tiger will be held every Saturday from 12:
00 to 3:00pm (Note the newly extended time). There will be occasional
cancellations due to workshops and the Anusara Immersion/TT. Check here
and also Atlanta Yoga's website for updates on the schedule. There are no
cancellations for July! Tiger will not meet August 7th,14th or 28th.
Cost: $20
“Hungry for the light…”
Practice interactively alongside Gina and friends. Through fierce intention and empowered
by the Universal Principles of Alignment™, playfully push the edges of your possibilities. Eye
of the Tiger covers the full spectrum of asana with emphasis on deepening basic forms so
as to radically expand body and mind in more challenging ones. Ideal for teachers and
experienced students, but open to all who long for freedom (and who have a basic
knowledge of handstand and Urdhva Dhanurasana and no major injuries).
