Breathing technique “4/7/8” to relieve tension and stress

For the modern woman it is very important to look beautiful and feel great. We offer you a breathing technique “4/7/8” to relieve tension and stress.

Breath and emotions are interrelated. If we are worried, nervous, worry – our breathing quickens. When we are relaxed – we breathe smoothly and quietly. Therefore, by adjusting the breath, we can affect our emotional stress.

The proposed technique is simple and accessible. Practicing proper techniques of breathing can help bring more oxygen to the blood and brain, eventually helping control the vital life energy. Ideally it performed sitting down, but you can stand and lying down.

1. Sit up straight, put hands on knees. Look around, not trying to focus the mind on something concrete. You can close your eyes. Focus only on your breathing. Inhale through your nose doing, exhale – through the mouth. As you exhale, the tip of the tongue should touch the roof of the mouth near the top teeth.
2. Take a deep breath, mentally counting to four. Try to fill the lungs from the bottom divisions (belly). Hold your breath for a count of seven. Take a slow breath through your mouth, counting eight seconds. On the exhale, “let go” all your anxiety and excitement.
3. Make a small pause before the next breath. Repeat 10-12 times to start. During the day, do exercises several times by 25-30 approaches.
